hi! i'm Rue. i'm a Filipino-Japanese cartoonist that takes a high interest in Asian culture, and not just about Japan and Korea!

i primarily study Philippine and Chinese culture, as some of it is connected to Havenfield. 

i created Havenfield on May 4, 2020, so i've had this fictional country for two years already.
in honor in one of my Russian friends who helped me create Havenfield and was the first person to meet them, Russia is an allied country with Havenfield. this is for the sake of my old friend, not for politics & other
