ᯓ★ these scam bots are annoying me so much because why have i been tagged in four separate messages in the span of an hour. these bots are so stupid because they don’t even look real. if you are being tagged in such messages, block and report the account. wattpad would never ask for id verification and they would never reach out on the message board. please do not click any of these links these scammers are posting.

ᯓ★ beware of the new wattpad scam! if you’ve received a message from “tech support” asking for id verification with a link, do NOT click it and promptly block/report the account and message. my friend nova has a chapter about it on her yap book (the most recent chapter). i’ve been taking time offline for my mental and physical health, but i wanted to quickly share this with you guys as i’ve heard more and more people are getting such messages.
