going on my yearly vacation (5 hr drive both ways) for the next two - almost three - weeks before year 9 starts on a day of late january (that i don’t know yet)!

only here is a place where people see a young child on their own at like 10pm and no one questions it
            9 times out of 10 they’re playing hide & seek with friends

so i’m back. a couple days since the attack have passed and the bridge where it became possible is open to the public.
          
          my theme is violet mcgraw for a fic. i won’t say too much but i WILL say that i’m in a Rookie phase and i’m looking at my skandar series book again

i have a small update
          it appears 40+ people have been shot, 16 are dead - including a child under the age of 12
          both suspects are in custody or dead
          one of them was tackled by a civilian when caught, another local head stomped one of them when they were arrested
          events have been cancelled across the country, including the Gold Coast

@themidnightrxses || i’ve sort of blocked everything out. i mean…something like this hasn’t happened in australia in my 14 (almost 15) years of life, so it shook me. and my cousin almost went to the site before she and her partner decided against it…so yeah, it’s a lot
