@neverbcw- I honestly do not know what happened to my og reply, but yeah, it’s definitely because of the standards pushed on black girls today. Like, I know my hair doesn’t look horrible, it’s just in its natural state, but at the same time I’m not going to school with my hair knotty and shrunk (shrinkage) squished together in some curly patty cake.
            
            Like all hair is so beautiful, and so is mine but it is SO HARD with the way it be defying gravity every five seconds. I do not need my hair sticking upwards at school T-T
            
            
            you don’t need to be gay to appreciate things abt anyone or women because honestly you’re right and I think ppl are less appreciative and observant nowadays. Like I’m not talking “wow, I’m so grateful for the world, my desk…” like you do you, but I’m talking about not man made things. Like “I’m so grateful for my hands, my eyelashes” idk.             The human body is so amazing and beautiful and brilliant and nothing is gross about skin and that’s where people need to grow up.
            
            I’m not saying that you can’t be uncomfortable by it and that’s a you thing but saying it’s gross, saying inappropriate things about a body not made to be sexualized but made to live and create life
            
            women are powerful and beautiful and elegant and I don’t even know my sexuality but I know there’s more to them than clothing/appearance as you said because they’re so strong and elegant, literally in ancient times Spartan women were trained for fighting (not for battle if I’m correct tho but still) and it jus makes me so upset to see it now
            
            Literally I had a Gameboy wallpaper with Katseye on my school computer and ofc in the music video they were wearing ig like a bikini top I don’t even know, and the guys in my class said it was creepy/weird like I didn’t even notice it before they pointed it out and they were looking at me like that was the only thing they were seeing
            
            I saw my friend’s mom, an older teacher get sexualized for eating beef jerky by some guys, snickering and looking at her
            
            I can’t eat a lollipop or a corn dog without getting looks
            
            it needs to stop
