haven’t stopped crying thinking about how much I’ve grown and so have my friends and the fact that we all started off as strangers but came together to write stories about our fave footballers to help us get through the ups and downs of life and I am so proud of myself and all of my friends, truly so blessed to have you in my circle (yk who you are) I immediately found a connection with Ronaldo since he lost his dad at a young age and my relationship with my dad has been on/off for years and I also got attached to Ney easily since I had no older brothers growing up but he soon became someone I looked up to quite quickly and Modric is also Catholic and his birthday is a day after mine so his connection is also quite special. and I could go on and on about how important football and these players have become to me, they kinda gave me a home when I had none in a sense. and I remember having not a lot of close friends so I joined this app and we started out getting so possessive over players and it was such a big deal back then but we all grew out of it and I’m so glad we did, proud to call you all my sisters in one way or another and anyways just very much in my feelings tonight love you all endlessly. so blessed <333

a part of my childhood and teenage me has died in the last 72 hours seeing neymar, modric and ronaldo take their final bows in their last World Cup has made me so emotional, and also because I grew to love the sport because of the friendships created through this app through the beautiful game and writing these little stories has saved me more times than any of you know and I know sometimes our idols and role models might not make the best choices sometimes since we’re all human and as human we deserve to give each other grace  but it’s still heartbreaking to see them leave the world stage thank you boys for the love and hope you’ve given me through these past 12 years and 4 world cups. and thank you to my girls especially the ones who started out with me all the way back on this little app in 2017, love you girls the most, our friendship and sisterhood is forever thanks to the beautiful game. love you all infinitely and forever <3333
