          so basically i was one ao3 fiddling around with one of my fics and i accidentally orphaned it like a total dumbass 
          
          and basically when you orphan a fic you basically disown it and remove all your ties to that fic so it can't be edited and stuff right???
          
          APPARENTLY ITS IRREVERSIBLE AHAHAHAHAHAHA IM ACTUALLY CACKLING 
          
          so now I can't update that fic and I can't delete it either bc i orphaned it like a total dingus 
          
          so yeah... moral of the story?? Don't be an idiot like me
