I will no longer be posting sneak peeks of my books on TikTok since people act like they can’t keep their hands to themselves. This is not the first time the same person has tried to snatch my plot idea, I’m sick of the bullshit. Originality is like a disease that seems impossible to catch on this app.

Someone commented on my TikTok post and told me to let them know when Scarred Fate was completed so that they could read it and that really irritated me. The authors that use AI to write have spoiled y’all too much. I know you guys want back to back chapters but I can’t pull 15 of ‘em out of my ass in one day. I take my time to write on my own and ensure that my book makes sense and is authentic as possible. To some people, writing is a hobby but it’s a craft to me and I take it seriously.

@Realia20 you can usually tell when things seem too..perfect. Or there are a lot of metaphorical phrases being used. For example, if character #1 said “I’m fine.” And character #2 replied with “You ain’t fine, you surviving. But survival shouldn’t look like exhaustion.” Like the words don’t sound authentic or if a real person spoke them, if that makes sense
