Definitely don’t ignore them. Tell them how you feel. Whether or not you feel the same way. But obviously do it in a sensitive way. Tell them that you value their friendship and maybe give each other some space.

@KollateralDamnage this happened with my  best friend too....,, just tell him/her that you don’t feel the same and you (maybe) never would. Tel them calmly and tell them you don’t want it to affect your friendship, give them some time after that and it should all be hopefully okay..... 
            
            I’m not sure if this’ll work but it did with me..
