Nothing waits for us beyond the horizon
Except the consequences of what we choose
Those who close their eyes before the unknown
May wander into a road they never intended

Fear can become a prison without walls
Doubt can become a voice that never sleeps
And those who listen until they cannot move
Will eventually be carried wherever it leads

The world does not promise us an answer
Nor does tomorrow reveal its design
We walk forward without knowing the ending,
Leaving our footprints behind us

Perhaps what we call destiny is only this:
A name we give to choices already made
A shadow following every decision,
Growing longer with every passing day

So I will not kneel before an unseen future
Nor blame the stars for where I arrive
If the road ahead belongs to anyone,
It belongs first to the one who walks it
