I believe 11 years(different accounts on and off) on here has beyond sufficed. It is safe to say I have decided my time on this app has come to an end, permanently. The process of moving ALL of my beloved ocs— human and fauna— off of here and somewhere else safe will take place very soon. Thank you all for the good times over the years. A fun ride, it was. <3 Toxi. P.S. ; I will always and forever be THE Toxi ;)

Happy Easter to those who celebrate! In the hedgewitch community, we strongly believe that the ‘Easter Bunny’ is the spirit of spring. This time around, I not only receive an ‘Easter basket’, but I am giving back to this spirit as well. I find it important to hold a good connection to the spirits of nature any way I can.

Listen y’all I don’t make my animal characters for your approval, I make them for my enjoyment and for you to choose to roleplay with. But I’ve seen a lot of people struggling with their male characters being picked over the females. That’s honestly a reoccurring issue in the roleplay community. (To me, this doesn’t really count if any male characters are bi, gay, etc). My preference has always been to make and play as males but I plan to add more females to FAUNA that I put the same amount of time and effort into making as I do my males. Do not just give my males more attention, especially the straight ones, simply because you wish to play a female. This is mostly to those who are new to me and aren’t my mutuals. And if you simply prefer playing females, well lovely, my girls won’t all be straight unless you only do heterosexual relationships then that’s all dandy I suppose. I especially tire of playing my dominant ones sometimes and do not want to incorporate such a trait into my females simply for the sake of them being noticed. Show my ladies equal love or I’ll smite you. <3 Love how I remembered it’s International Women’s Day in the middle of writing this.

@-mithrandir i’m so glad i prefer to play male characters for this reason. i love people being able to play their female characters more often, but i’m a people pleaser so that’s probably why XD

@peacocksarescary I completely understand. I personally love to see more dominant, outspoken females who are willing to go against someone and not have their every move and choice controlled by some dominant chad dog lmaoo. But I also love to see submissive males and ones that carry more feminine-like traits and not just when they are homosexual! You can be a straight boy and still be a soft boy. So really the issue is people flocking to dominant/ásshole male characters when more attention could be given to non-stereotypical females and submissive males. If you ever were to consider bringing back the lovely dobie boy of yours, I’d love to see him. I also don’t believe people always have to do the cliche dominant and submissive duo smh. It really doesn’t always have to work like that.

Exactly, I've got a few females I'm in the process of revamping that are indeed rather dominant and when i originally had them published in a separate oc book only one person was ever interested in them; others always flocked to my submissive, quiet females rather than the ones who were dominant and far more likely to stand up for themselves. It's the same with submissive males I've posted, so many people are against the thought of having a male be anything but dominant and it's irritating asf. I get that about the retired match dogs, I had a Doberman character who was similar to that but he was a total 'coward,' as some called him; terrified of fighting and conflict in general but he was a sweetheart who wanted nothing more than to be loved. He was one of my favorite characters but so many people were so rude about him, saying that he should be aggressive or more dominant rather than a 'scaredy cat' and things like that. It irritated me to the point where I flat-out unpublished his character entirely. So I completely get that with her, it's awesome to see people going out of the box of 'norms' for characters.

I will be focusing on new characters for FAUNA today and will only be replying to a very select few roleplays. I’ve also added a couple more upcoming characters for FAUNA, so have a look if you wish!
