“Stomach trouble.” It could be anything and usually they won’t ask for details. it’s also nothing a doctor can do anything about. The earlier you call off the more believable.

I was thinking to make a schedule so I can have certain days when I allow myself to read and days where I allow myself to write, but I kind of just wanna do both of those things whenever I feel like it. Like if I feel like writing or reading I don’t wanna tell myself no cos it’s not on the schedule

@run444thehills that makes a lot of sense! When I first started writing my book, I had a lot of ideas that I just wanted to write down as soon as possible. I was able to write a lot of chapters back to back until I completely exerted myself and ran out of ideas. So I definitely get what you’re saying about being overwhelmed! I also think that a schedule is a good idea because it will stop me from using up all my brain power at once haha. Thank you for your help!
