At some point we have to talk about reader etiquette because no way are there people on here who think it's okay to download someone else's work, pass it off as theirs, and think that it would be funny. 
          	
          	Not only that, but to silently read something then out of nowhere, the first ever comment you make is a demand for updates. Or worse - rag on characters because they're not supposed to have backbones?
          	
          	Wattpad used to be one of the most inclusive safe spaces in its earlier years. Since when was plagiarism seen as a fun joke? Since when were authors being treated like puppets to fulfill your literary fantasies?

I just finished a HUGE binge of Tension and I'm hooked... Pretty sure I read someone's rip off of your work though :/ I came across Tension on AO3 and it's a version of the story that's not even from *your* AO3 account (it was posted by a deleted account with slightly different named characters) and is unfinished.
          
          I only found your Wattpad page because I was dying for more of the story and did some internet sleuthing that lead me here, since the version I was reading was a dead end. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to you, the actual author of the story because what I read was really, really good. I'm completely unfamiliar with Outer Banks too lmao, I've literally never seen the show. I've followed your Wattpad page and the version of Tension you have on here so I'm excited for more updates whenever you get around to it :)
          
          P.S. I can post the link to the AO3 page with the version of Tension I read but it goes all the way to chapter 35, so it would be more than a bit spoilery if you're planning to continue posting chapters here.

@denver_ballorado I can in fact delete lol just realised, but actually it gets worse - this was stolen off of my Patreon when I was in the process of getting it published traditionally. 
            
            Thank you for letting me know about this. Moving forward I won't post anything new online anymore. This is just horrible to find out

Hey girl, I know you will not remember me ahah but when you were writing waves and tension yearss ago I used to like adore you and ur writing, and I remember having a few conversations with you here aswell! When you moved over to patreon, I couldn’t afford to pay at the time, (school expenses and all of that haha) I said goodbye on the conversation here and you sent back one of the nicest messages ever! Anyway just wanted to say hi again! (I just logged into to this account for the first time in YEARS the nostalgia is crazy)
