knowing that his check in wasn’t for
another twenty four hours , he knew he
was screwed . seeing as he had been
wounded , by wounded a gunshot wound
to the lower abdomen and shoulder . while
he had managed to escape the shootout ,
he had only managed to get two blocks
to an abandoned building before collapsing.

@-morsecode i’m uh . . f - few hours away . . * he mumbled , before firing his gun once again as another hydra agent came into view . he let out painful noises , as he forced himself to move positions no matter how weak he was becoming . * some abandon building in boston . . i’m bleeding out bob . . they’re coming for me , i can hear them . * he started to have a coughing fit , before answering again . * lower abdomen , and i think somewhere near my shoulder . .

@jokeshields bobbi was biting down hard on her lip when hunter finally answered. she let out a large sigh of relief when she heard his voice, but his words immediately made her even more worried than she was before. “hunter, don’t you dare say that,” she quickly said, talking over him to try and make herself not hear it. “where are you?” she asked as she ran a hand through her hair, “tell me where you are and i’ll come get you.” the sound of the gunshot made her quickly speak, “hunter, are you okay?” but him speaking again so soon after made her chuckle sadly. “you’re keeping our promise, hunter. just… i’m on my way, okay? just stay on the phone with me until i get there. where are you hit?”

@-morsecode * as he heard the phone in his pocket start to go off , it jolted him to wake up slightly . pain coursing through his body , the movement causing him to cough up blood . his hand around his gun , slowly and shakily moved to reach for his phone . his finger pressing on the answer button , even through his blurred vision he could tell it was bobbi . * i .. don’t want you t..to freak out .. i don’t think i.. i’m coming home .. * he said with shallow breaths , before coughing up blood once again . * i-i’m hit bob . . * a pained noise leaving his lips , as he tried shifting slightly . when he heard a noise coming closer to him , hunter grabbed his gun shakily before firing it when a hydra agent came into view . * i-i’m sorry .. i-i’m sorry i won’t be able to keep o..our promise ..
