a few trees away, the nine year old was running as fast as she could , yelling and snapping following behind her , she slid to a stop when she ran into the back of someone, she quickly look up. " sam — !! " the color drained from her face as the older man quickly turned, hand gun in his hand , he quickly grabbed her by her brown locks. " there you are."
it was only a few moments later that a loud shot rang out, echoing through the darkened greenery.
