@Grimmjowswaifu / and if they can’t understand your accent you’re apparently insulting them or you should speak standard English. my mom has a YouTube channel and stuff but she doesn’t speak in standard English but rather Jamaican dialects and the ignorant Americans in the comments keep telling her to “speak the standard American English”. Other understood what’s she’s saying and if they don’t they turn in the captions, so why can’t they do the same. Nobody has to adjust themselves to fit their standards and it’s pretty sad that they can’t understand that to this day.

@strawhattiffany / well generally speaking majority of the Caribbean is apart of North (& if I’m correct South) America but only 2 are actually U.S territory. But ig to Americans if you’re not born in America and whatnot you’re not considered American or from “North America” ☠️

@-philoxphobia / They expect us to finish that much assignments in 3 days… and the worse part is they don’t even make the questions the least bit easy ! cause what do you mean you want a PowerPoint slide on a case study you have me and it has 10 parts to answer AND THE MARKS FOR EACH PARTS ARE SO DAMN HIGH THAT I HAVE TO MAKE SURE I COVER EVERYTHING !

⭑ — i feel like for the first in a long time , i spoke to my school counselor about ALOT of stuff that has been weighing on me and she actually listened like detailedly and gave me pretty good advice.
i use to think something is wrong with me because i act differently from everyone in my generation—and now i realize my brain just adapted to something else that what everyone else is gravitating towards…
and now i also know how to navigate my life clearer—before i hated the whole idea of telling people about my personal struggles when all along i just needed to open up to someone so i can get more clarity and stuff—i still suck at that but i tried today!

guys, trust i have argued this too. it’s obvious!! but when i got glasses and didn’t tell anyone, basically everybody didn’t recognize me until i told them who i was.

⭑ — racism is quite funny to me cause wdym you don’t like me because I’m black what do you want me to do, paint myself white? Scrape the black off me and put it in a bucket?
I’ve never outright faced racism but I’ve experienced it indirectly and online, and i never once took it seriously but like i know if a Caucasian person calls me a N*gga or a monkey i might probably laugh in their face—maybe it’s because in my own country almost everyone here calls everyone a N*gga or a black monkey or any form of slur that is used against a black person for fun or maybe because we all insult one another here (anyone outside our country would think we’re racist our own kind but i guess it’s just what we’re use to).
But id deadass laugh if a non black/poc person calls me a N*gga as an insult because idk wtf u want me to do about my color.

@kaoooori / black people are always black peoples biggest enemies. They’ll sell you off for validation from light skin people, I’ve seen it myself. but like i think i kinda understand why they look at you— it could be for more than one reasons trust ! Some of them could be racist, come could be curious about your background— like if you’re darkskin but have Asian features they’re gonna be curious. black community have their own hierarchy too which is kinda sad, you’d think that they’d look out for one another but they turn out to be each other’s biggest enemies and haters.

and the thing is, racism is even worse in asian countries. like im half black half asian and i was visiting chongqing w my mom and like its not like they say anything but the amount of crazy looks i get when im there is insane?? and like im used to it because my hs is a pwi i have wayy more friends here and its honestly not that bad compared to when i went to a majority black school like black people would genuinely call me a chigger like.. i feel like nobody talks about the internalized racism in the black community too its crazy

@K-KOSHII / i have bizarre story for that too . . . before during and after he continuously tells me he likes me and shi he would randomly come to me ranting about some failed talking stage. either a girl ghost him or a girl is talking to him and 2+ other guys and he finds out by either searching the girls phone or the girl tells him themselves. he was trying this indirect crap where he text me saying ‘the girl i like probably is talking to other guys like all the girls I’ve talked to’—he was talking about me but i deadass ignored his little indirect jab cause i never told the guy i was in any form of situationship with him! i had a boyfriend at the time too which made it absolutely baffling.

@K-KOSHII / that much was obvious to me , but it’s a evil world out here especially in my country. men are dangerous, tell them no and they’ll literally stalk u and possibly kidnap you. i told him I’m not interested lightly and nicely cs i didn’t wanna hurt him in the beginning but then he kept pushing the subject and i told him no that he’s no my type and i don’t want him and all that—i even had my guy bestfriend answer one of the calls and tell him off but it’s like that shi riles him up even more so i stop reading/answering his messages and calls. i can’t stand guys like that and i remember the first week i started ghosting him, he got the hint for a WHILE and then started texting me shi like ‘maybe if i was more good looking you’d stop ghosting me.’ DUDE you could have looked like Eren Yeager i still wouldn’t answer you cause you rub me the wrong fucking way! he even do the dumbest shi like try to flex on me—how tf does that work?!
