does the mc in the story always have to be afraid of scary movies? i wanna see someone who isn’t afraid at all, but maybe that’s just bc i’m not scared of them

like i won’t say who or what the book was, but there was a character in this movie that was 17. and the person writing a fic ab this movie used a face claim of someone that is 25 for the love interest. the actor was 16 i believe. even if that actor wasn’t a minor it’s still weird but maybe that’s just me.

idk why people do this, but if you’re writing a fanfic and the person that played the character is grown up now, does not mean you can give them an adult love interest (i hope i’m making sense). while the actor was playing the character they were still a minor. please give appropriate face claims. if your character’s face claim is 27 now but the character was 16 it’s still weird. don’t use the excuse that the actor is older now, bc the character they were playing was not. I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE IVE JUST SEEN IT QUITE A LOT THATS ALL!
