I think the reason I run out of steam so fast with the new fics i write is because im trying to keep up with whats popular. I need to go back to my roots and publish good old self indulgent fanfiction for dead fandoms again

@ace_asterisk this exactly!!! its so hard to continue a project when interest in the source material is so fickle. it feels like you're shouting into a void after a while

@-nightskin felt this in my soul ong. Because even what's popular becomes unpopular like 3 days after it finishes airing and then u feel like there's no point in continuing since everyone has moved on
