why is there a popular discourse online about how south asian wasians don't fall under the wasian terminology? and its not because they're geographically challenged (they themselves state they know these countries are part of asian) but that wasian is referring to east asians specifically. like mate if you want a specific term for east asian wasians then create one, but wasian encompasses south asians too my dude. if you look at the morphology of the word wasian, the '-asian' part refers to the continent of asia. That includes south asia. nowhere in that word is there a distinct reference to east asian. I fear for our future if this is the extent of our intellectualism.
