sister, this might not make sense but I want you to know that I'm sorry for what I've done in the past - and even though I am, and I say so with all sincerity, I honestly cant trust myself to stop in the future. which is why I've been coming and going so much lately, I don't trust myself anymore. and the last thing

Getting out of the house and away from Stefan was something that Damon did often and most of the time that meant going to the Grill. The dark haired vampire was seated at the bar nursing a glass of bourbon in his hand with the half empty bottle sitting in front of him. He was rather glad that there were only a few other customers in the bar, but then given that it was only early he shouldn't have been so surprised. It didn't take long for the eldest Salvatore to lose himself in his thoughts.

A slight frown creased his face and Damon found himself shaking his head. "Why is it that I get the feeling you're not talking about Stefan? Which is really strange because as far as I know, he's my only brother," he replied, voice laced with suspicion. Rolling his eyes, the dark haired vampire pulled a face. "Oh so that's the gremlin's name. A word of advice Jane, keep her away from me. I really don't want to kill your daughter," he stated, the distaste clear in his voice. There was no point lying to Jane. At least this way, if she wanted her daughter to live, she would keep the child away from him.

Lightly drumming his fingers against the bar, a small, confused frown creased his face as Jane spoke. "I'm sorry, did you just say you got engage? Well then I guess I owe you a congratulations," he replied, not even bothering to keep the surprise from his voice. "As for your kids, I would offer my apologies, but we both know it wouldn't be true," he added. It was no secret that Damon despised children, and he couldn't quite understand why Jane would want one let alone three. "And as for me, well I've been well. No new girls."
