            “really.?”    ( she asked, her face heating up at that and her cheeks turning a light shade of pink as her arms tightened around the woman. she hadn’t been expecting that. ) 

“oh?” she grinned widely, glancing over. “you flatter me, sweetheart — even if you don’t mean to.” she teased, her expression soft. “the same goes for you, y’know. y’mean a lot to me. so.. don’t forget that.”

            “i enjoy everything with you. and everything you do, too.”    ( she mumbled truthfully, feeling so relaxed and calm that she didn’t even fully register she said that. she didn’t stop there though. )    “you make everything so much better by simply— existing near me, honestly. i mean it.”

“lette?” she echoed, blinking a few times. “is that a nickname?” scarlett questioned, affection laced in her tone. “it’s sweet.”
