            ah, the times when madonna was still relevant. what a time to be alive. young betsy definitely bopped to ‘like a virgin.’ 
            
            “his mutant island was a horrible idea.” but then again, magneto did have a lot of horrible ideas to this day. it seemed to be a trend for him. “sinister isn’t as scary as his name makes him out to be. i’m pretty sure the dude is a kids camp counselor during summers.” she joked. “do you really only come to this time for mcdonalds? also,, would you maybe explain how we know each other in the future?” curiosity killed the cat. or in this case, the subject of conversation. betsy couldn’t help it. she really wanted to know more about the future. maybe it was a little selfish, but she be hella curious.

It was cruel , but necessary ; she had insulted his " ridiculous dependence on technology " , or whatever it was she said .

" Like , I admire his politics , but there's only so many times you can attempt to kill your not - son son before you're morally questionable . 'Sides , who invites a guy like Sinister around your mutant island ? He's not even a full mutant ! " . He had . . . strong feelings about Mister Sinister , given the man's . . . everything .

            betsy laughed, nodding in agreement. that was one of emma’s rules that she just never understood. in fact, she thought it was stupid. but she wouldn’t tell frost that. “actually...” she started. “i haven’t seen emma and her posse in a while. i’m not really affiliated with them anymore.” she continued explaining. “the last group i was with was an x-force, but we disbanded a short while ago.” 
            
            yes, that was true, but she hadn’t entirely been telling the truth. she was currently part of a group that consisted of only four people. but they’d all agreed it would be best to stay a secret for the time being. 
            
            thinking about magneto, she couldn’t help but laugh. the guy was a fool, and she was glad she got to run her katana through him twice in her life. so far. “i think killing him was surprisingly enjoyable. but you know mutants— he didn’t stay dead for long.”
