          Hello all. I realize that it’s kind of ridiculous to announce a hiatus when I haven’t regularly updated a story once in my whole wattpad career, but I’m here to announce that I am taking a hiatus, anyway. There’s a lot going on. Job hunting is awful, and I miss my grandmother, and just about everyone I know (me included) is really disappointed in me for not graduating college on time. All of this is a lot to deal with without the added pressure of feeling like I have to update fanfictions that go nowhere because only my wp friends are reading them. So, idk if I’m just going to ride out the rest of the semester and see what how I feel then, or what, but this is goodbye for now. if I had a nickel for every time I lost interest in a show bc the ONLY thing the fandom ever talked abt was the one white male character and all the older men they could ship him with, I’d have two nickels. it isn’t a lot but I’m sick of it happening lol

          In regards to a certain corner of the ASOIAF fandom (TWs for mentions of Inc*st and CSA):
          
          You people have pushed the line of “Fic shouldn’t be censored” so far that you’re practically criminally negligent. Claiming that you are just trying to write a compelling/complex narrative about the horrors of inc*st and/or CSA only to turn around and giggle with your tumblr friends about how taboo your smut scene between two children was is insane. Just because they’re fictional does not mean you are not hurting people, and just because it’s a book that involves inc*st doesn’t mean you are justifiable in your actions. CSA is a real thing. Inc*st is a real thing. You are not Nobokov. You are Lana Del Rey. You are a copy of Lolita with a little girl’s face on the cover. And I hope that you get whatever help you need before you and your gaggle of sycophants can cause any more harm than you undoubtably already have.
