She squeaked, just laughing quietly as she tried to return the tightness. “Gods, Mum. You surely missed me a lot, huh?” she teased as she looked up at her, smiling brightly. There was something about her mother that always caught her eyes. Maybe it was the similarities between the two but maybe she could be seeing things.

            she almost squeezed the life out of the girl,, beyond excited that marina seemed just as excited to see her. usually since gods + their mortal children did not get along, amphitrite consider this a win. although, her relationship with her daughter had never been one of the usual god / demigod relationships to begin with.

She found her arms around her mum as she hugged her super tightly, “I missed you just as much, Mum. If not more.”

            IM HONORED U SHARED THIS WITH ME ! it could literally be a poem i analyze in english it’s so like, idk. it’s really good

yAY ! also, i wrote this in my graduation speech , but now you’re the admin to a sea goddess, so like, i feel like you should read it ! 
            
            washing waves bring the same contents to the shore,
            yet deeper within the midnight blue they split off to their own currents.
            these waves have an aura, one of certain closeness,
            it pulls one in like the song of a siren, springing out the words of forever freedom.
            like ripples come lessons, and like currents come deadlines,
            but within time, it all starts to fade.
            i do wonder who would we be if the ocean were forever calm, 
            because a wise man once said, a calm sea never made a skilled sailor.
