I'll start... Recently read a fanfic where I thought the two mains wouldn't end up together because of a massive conflict despite them being madly in love... And then they had an angry confession that turned spicy... It was so good!!! Not even going to mention how many chapters in we were.... (70 chapters into a 100 chapter book)... It was academic rivals too..

Do you ever feel, just a little... Frustrated... When people in your comments say that your ocs actions are "too out of character" or that their actions are "stupid" and only for the "plot"?????
Like my ocs are my ocs, anything is in character if I'm writing it. I created them.... I just... Idk... It's a little annoying...
Like yes, honey parker does go with Bella because despite everything, Bella is her best friend ── her family ── so yes, she goes. Does she make much of a difference, more than you think.
Like yes, Cordelia Forbes hooks up with Damon... They pretty much use each other's body to distract from the ones they actually want to be with. Damon makes the most sense, he doesn't get romantically attached to her. Cordelia knows to keep him at arm's length. There was literally no one else who works for a FWB situation for Cordelia...
Please be a little more respectful to writers and the decisions they make. Usually, I try not to care but over twenty complaints per situation is just... Ughhhhh idkkkkkk
I understand posting publicly means these comments are bound to happen and people are going to be cruel and judgemental and pretend it's just an opinion or it's just criticism to hide the fact they're anonymously bullying others, it just sucks so much.
The world is already so cruel, why does my safe space have to become the same thing.... :(
@-rosiescomet some people are probably reading and I think imagining themselves as your oc's. I agree with you wholeheartedly even though i am fortunate so far to not have been dealing with this yet :) your oc's are still very cool and try to ignore them, if they are staying stuff like that they should just look for yn stories or write their own or just click off your story ig.
What most of this people forget is that it is FANFICTION, its supposed to be from the imagination of the author, if the author wants to change something you either accept it or stop reading, people just want to hate. For example if the author would want to add a bright pink wolf into a twilight fanfiction then they would need to accept that, no matter if they like it or not
@-rosiescomet Honestly this. I swear I have so so so many peeps complain about me changing Finn from TVD’s face claim and age in one of my fics. They always say “Oh he’s not this old and this isn’t right.” Like bruh don’t read it if you can’t handle or even like my changes. It’s changed for a REASON. Plus people like to complain nowadays just to be mean or put down authors. I swear! To me I adore changes any author makes cause it’s honestly really cool seeing how others would change certain things. I also like how much care and love into their books too!
Lacking updates as adulting gets in the way... Why are cars so high maintenance lmao
