Respectfully, if you read a book and skip over a single word ON PURPOSE, aka only read dialogue between characters without reading the narrative aspect, I don't trust you... or like you... reading means every single word put on that paper/screen...
I learnt via threads that there are people out there who purposefully only read dialogue between the characters but not the narrative that builds the actual story.... which explains sooooo many comments I've gotten in the past... like why read if you aren't going to fully immerse yourself into the story, narrative and all?
Like I just... don't understand it.... anyway, imma go play modded minecraft for a few hours ❤️

I do understand your perspective on things! I never used to do that or even now but I get what you’re saying. I’d bother me if I was missing context clues and everything as well. I heard a few readers on TikTok have done this to be able to meet a certain expectations of authors sending free books in exchange for reviews and things similar to that so I would believe it ❤️❤️
Okay here me out!! When I was younger ( as I am a fanatic for even reading tv episode scripts etc. ) I used to get so impatient with my ADHD brain and skip to read the ending, THEN go back and enjoy the book as a whole. Ironically enough I usually forget the ending anyways so it just makes me feel better? Idk? I don’t now but I used to be such a weird child lol
@-rosiescomet people actually do that? If I find a story that is almost completely dialogue I can't read it because there isn't enough around it to make the story have more detail.
Hay, how do you make your character mood boards.
@Sweetfox45 || I use Canva for the moodboard aspect and then just search aesthetics for certain cores like softcore, cottagecore, dark academia for the specific images.
