i love wattpad. i really do. this was my go to when my life was falling apart. when i needed an escape. when i needed someone to listen without telling everything about me. it's just that it's draining when it's no longer as user-friendly as it was more than a decade ago. i loved how accessible it was even in offline but now.. it's just so ass. so buggy. it's so difficult gaining readers. back then they'd even have top 10 and top 20 works displayed on the homepage. now it's just filled with pay to read novels. they only reward those that can make them earn more revenue. ever since having ads everywhere, wattpad fell apart when it dominated the one field it was made for. it's incredibly frustrating. this is one of the reasons why i just can't force myself to write. i just feel so lazy because of this. ugh
