He looked up at her his eyes going through a thousand different shades in those few seconds. He began to panic internally. He could feel another blackout coming. "Peg...Peg...I...I don't want to forget you." He whispered hoarsely his eyes finding hers.

@GodBlessAmericasAss the agent kept Steve close to her, feeling his head in the crook of her neck. keeping both of her hands on the super soldiers back. Wanting to keep him close and safe . she just wanted to be here for Steve, no matter want, if thats what she wants to. her heart ached for him, it always has. "I got you to Steve, I am here for you okay" peggy said as she stayed close to him feeling the kisses to her hair and it felt nice. yeah of course, he is the love of her life. she moved her hands on his back, she did not want to break from a hug, but she knew they had too. "Steve I am not going anywhere, I promise. you will not be alone" she said as she met his eyes, going to hold his hands again. she knew she would need to explain the modern world to him, something she still was not used to yet. but she will explain it. she moved to Kiss his forehead gently moving a hand to fix his hair "how .. do you feel now Steve..?" she asked meeting his eyes again. wanting to make sure he will be okay.

Steve buried his face into the crook of her neck just taking every bit of her in. He thought she was lost, but she was here. It didn't feel real. For a moment through his head he thought he was dead...but something inside of him knew that this wasn't what death was like...almost out of experience. That didn't matter in the moment though, in the moment, he was focused on Peg and how much his heart ached for her. And she said they won...he had beat him. Maybe they could finally settle down now.
"I know. I know it is. I've got you." He mumbled in return, turning his head to place kisses among her dark hair. "I don't know what I would ever do without you Peg." He spoke, finally pulling away to look down into her eyes. He hadn't yet noticed the modern apartment around them...and he had yet to notice the bustling city outside the window, but for the moment he wasn't worried about anything but the woman in front of him.

@GodBlessAmericasAss The plane .. that bloody plane crash that ended the war and hydra (so they thought). That plane crash he remembers, that was one of the hardest things for Peggy. But it’s okay , they are both here, alive. “You remember.. the plane .. you haven’t lost me now Steve” she said gently moving to hug him back softly “we did beat him, you did Steve” yes steve beat the red skull but hydra was still around in secret. Peggy just didn’t want to Steve to forget more . She could not stop that but she was going to be here to answer his questions , To hold him like she is now . Just be there for her darling . “It’s going to be okay steve I promise” she whispered after a while as she continued to hug him . She didn’t want to let go but knew she would have to eventually
