"acting, good vocals, and dance skills. this basically has kim taehyung on it."
          "m' not an actor," mumbles taehyung. "and vocal skills are a stretch."
          "you had vocal lessons for six years!" argues jimin.
          "yeah, before i started high school. that was like nine years ago." taehyung retorts. "jimin-ssi, please, i have no business dancing in itchy costumes and singing cheesy songs."
          "but it's a play, taehyung! you want to be an actor! sure, you can't sing as well, but ! never fear, your handsomely good looks make it up for it!"
          jimin was really trying, but taehyung has known the midget far too long to fall for it. 
          "park jimin. i'll say it one more time, i'm not going to-"
          "did you hear kim namjoon is going to be the director?" jimin interrupts. 
          "what?" 
          if you asked kim taehyung to name movie celebs, he would only be able to count a few: but in that few: kim namjoon stood out. taehyung had always admired the dimpled man who created thrillers like 'blood sweat and tears' or 'dna'. he had also admired how he portrayed lgbt+ as humans too.
          "yup!" jimin grinned. he had taehyung now. "y' know, i would have fanboyed him too if the news hadn't said he was in love with his choreographer. j-hope, the guy who makes the dances in every single play."
          "when do i audition?" 
          "saturday afternoon at 3 pm."
          "i hate you."
          "i love you too."

The day someone's life ends can be a morning like any other. You can wake up, make breakfast for yourself, and just like that, everything's gone.
          
          Jeon Jeongguk had woken up on the wrong side of the bed, but not literally. Jeongguk had drunk too much the day before, celebrating the end of a two-month case. 
          
          He woke up, looking out at the bright sun he never woke up to on the other side of the bed. He felt the slight breeze of heavy breathing above him on his back since the thin sheets over him only covered up to his lower back, leaving his upper half exposed as he laid on his stomach.
          
          But why were the sheets so thin, compared to his usual warm bedsheets? 
          
          And who was breathing?
          
          Jeongguk rolled over, eliciting a ow, dude from the body next to him. 
          
          Jeongguk panicked. In his mind, he went through the Fuck-I-Had-Sex-With-Strangers List his older brother Seokjin made for him after the time he found Jeongguk with a boy on the couch.
          
          Am I naked?  Yes.
          
          Do I smell like shit?  Yes.
          
          Was I drinking the day before?  Yes. 
          
          Oh fuck. 
          
          Before Jeongguk could scramble away from his one-night stand, Jin-his brother- had appeared at the bedroom and opened the door, announcing himself by singing out, "Knock knock and good morning to you, Kookie! We have a lot of breakfast today, so eat up so you can look more like Jaehyun!"
          
          "I heard my name-" came a grumpy voice- the body beside him. 
          
          Jin dropped his tray. "Jeongguk? What the fuck? Did you-"
          
          "No, we didn't." came (?) Jaehyun's lethargic voice. 
          
          "Ah, so you just slept together naked and happen to both smell like shit. Yeah, okay." 
          
          Clearly, Jin was not having it.
