guys im genuinely shocked i had no idea so many people actually followed this fic…
as someone who also reads i get how frustrating it is having something suddenly stop but ive just had a looooot going on my apologies. i think of this fic all the time and write from time to time but this story was literally a rough draft i didnt expect people to like so im trying to rewrite it properly but it unfortunately takes a lot of time if i want it done properly.
ive realised a lot of fics in this type of AU and fandom have similar plots, characterisations and such which makes it tough to continue the story without feeling weird about potentially copying/being compared to other amazing pieces of work - i totally didnt consider this before and once it came to light i felt weird about my work.
i even re-read all of better than him and realised how much i enjoyed this story but the spelling errors and such always stop me from making it public again.
im aware its probably a lot of time since and gonna be a bit more time but im hoping to return to this as a little side project and get it going - unfortunately i cant specify when but id love to hear your thoughts and whatnot the comments were the highlight of this process for me haha but any feedback is welcome.
