@-vinca- all good arguments. (english isn't my first language either, surprising as that may be) i dont want to criticise you, but i'd rather like to help you. it's not an issue of HAVING the time, it's about how you USE the time. as i explain in my Time theory (which i didn't post here) anyone can have time to do anything. what i mean is that even if your comment-writing is long due to to your perfectionism, you can considerably reduce the time it takes by simply writing simply. for example: "Awesome." is as simple as you can get. i'm not saying you should comment "Awesome." on everything. i'm just saying if you could limit your comments to one or two sentences it wouldn't take enough time to waste your time and it would still be a more-than-satisfactory comment for any author.

huh... an empty message board. how unusual. well...its not empty anymore but it WAS empty when i wrote this. i applaud your silent lurking and am glad u silently lurked through some of my stuff. although you may be finding good reasons not to leave traces such as comments for now, if you ever do start writing yourself you may also find out why authors cherish them so much, however small, insignificant or harsh they may be. If i were to explain it myself it would be this: every comment or message is like a candle of encouragement in the deep, dark night that is the writing world, each one of them revealing something you did good at, or something you failed at, or simply something that people generally like about your writing style, thus helping you improve yourself more and more as they will eventually reveal the road to your finished work and success. Personally, when i read a comment, it always gets my spirits up and makes me want to write more right away (although most of the time i need more time and i remain frustrated at the tragedy that is working). maybe you'll take that into consideration while finding reasons not to comment from now on. Anyways, thanks for supporting me, even if you dont show it.
