I have never played a single second of The Last of Us but started looking into it when i heard Pedro Pascal was cast in the HBO show and now i've fallen down a TLOU hole. i whole-heartedly love Joel and will probably obsess over him until TLOU drops. :)

so I’m a reckless but committed dumbass who started her NaNoWriMo project halfway through the month!!! but I’m definitely going to try to finish it before the month ends! I’m at 6,000 words after 2 days, so I still have a long way to go, but who wants to see the book I’m working on posted here?
@-voids I cannot disagree with a single word you just said! Like when our schools closed during the spring, I was like in a way, oh, how nice. No school. But then it got boring studying from home and my graduation was not the same as it usually was every year. So that was really sad. I had a quite good graduation despite the circumstances, but it would have been much more fun to do what everybody else have done when they graduated :(((( And now with the college courses from home....it is not the same either. I like studying when I am in school, I have like a better flow in comparison to being home...
@DiamondSkys I agree, COVID has ruined just about everything this year, especially school (which I never thought I’d say)

also, in light of such devastating and tragic news, it absolutely baffles me that some people try to use it for political arguments. the amount of comments i’ve seen about “we don’t care! this is a x page (food, sports, etc.)!” like, this man has changed so many lives and been a role model and outstanding person in general, and you try to disregard his death because you don’t care? if you don’t care then carry on with your business. their are hundreds of thousands of people grieving, as evident in the trends and newsfeeds of various social media sites.
one that absolutely made me flare with anger was “ok, so now the next Black Panther should be WHITE (!). you know, for diversity.” that is so offensive and inconsiderate. Chadwick was the first black superhero to lead a movie in a titular role in the MCU. if you want white superheroes for you our your children to look up to or to satisfy your need for “white diversity,” then go watch the first 17 movies in the MCU. seriously. it made me sick to my stomach and so beyond angry that i was literally shaking.
let’s all be kind to each other, especially in the wake of such a tragedy.
