@Finn_Wheeler11 Um well. it helps a heck of a lot if you storyboard or plot out your whole book first. because then you as the writer knows exactly what going to happen so you can foes less on what to write and more on how to write it. with my first book I didn't plot it out and it always felt rushed. but my other books are all plotted out, and they are more enjoyable to read. another tip is to proofread your chapters. I only recently started doing, but oh boy is it helpful. when I proofread its not only for the spelling and grammatical errors, it also helps me to know if what I wrote flows well and makes sense to the book. proofreading is basically a last life. because you get to fix everything and make sure your chapter comes out nice. also a tip is to make sure you like what you are writing because if you aren't enjoying the things you write, it will show in your chapter. and make it less enjoyable for your readers. tip 4 is to LISTEN to your readers. if they really like the way you described something in one chapter, find a way to describe something like that again. and if they really didn't like something that happened stay away from that in future books. one last tip is to describe everything. the more detail you put into something like a kiss, if you write it like "their lips crashed together" or "she pressed her face against the freckled boys soft lips" you're readers will go crazy. its more entertaining to read something with more detail (as long as it doesn't feel like your dragging on). and it will bring back more readers. also do not write any sex scenes or anything CLOSE to one. people will freak out, at least in the stranger things fandom because the actors are so young. if you ever need anything you can always message me!
