We are often surrounded by people, and sometimes we start to believe what others say about us. Other times, we focus on our own thoughts and feelings and think that’s who we really are. But it’s important to remember that our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and situations do not define who we are or our worth.
You are not the bad thoughts that pop into your head. You are not the storm you are going through. You are the person experiencing the storm, and even though it may knock you down, you will get back up again.
As humans, it’s normal to have many different emotions. The real test is in how we handle and control them. It’s easy to get lost in thinking about the future, with all its plans, goals, and uncertainties.
But the truth is, the future hasn’t happened yet. Worrying about it only takes away your joy in the present. So, stay strong and make the present moment matter.
