So love is pain has been taken down by Wattpad for copyright infringements. I am very very confused by this as it is very clearly stated that it is a fan fiction. I read corrupt in which love is pain is set in as I was writing so of course there is a direct translation of scenes as there is in 90% of Damon Torrance stories. But so much of the book was directly mine. I am very upset and angry about this. But I do not have the mental effort to go back and fourth in emails and arguements about this. I would also argue that Adeline petrova which is also a fan-fiction and I also took direct from the show had more directly identical quotations. The only other reason I can think for love is pain to be taken down is that I recently read another fan fiction of Damon Torrance that had adopted someone of my original work. Specific scenes that are in my book and not in corrupt or any other devils night book. I did not have any irritation at this because art and literature (in the loosest terms of the word) are meant to inspire but now I have a feeling that is what has caused this removal. I don’t want to appeal for fear they will simply shut down my account. Really open to advice about this one.
