You never really lose anything,
Maybe it is time for something new.
That complex book, you held in your hands,
With those round glasses resting on your nose,
You look absorbed in the rusty earth-coloured pages of your novel.
You look Intrigued.
Your eyes, an amalgmation of softness and contentment,
Glistening with the diamond-coloured sun shining from the vintage aura crystalled windows.
Your lips curve up in a gentle smile along with your eyes.
You look breath-taking, when you smile with your whole face.
"What is the book saying?"
"Is it a happy moment, that you picture in your head, that makes you smile?"
"Or is it something, that resonated with you, and you couldn't help but adore the character that made you smile?"
I am intrigued.
"Is it that good?"
"Tell me."
With that, I placed my novel on the table beside me, and folded my hands, below my chest,
While I let my body rest on those big-old shelves, watching your lovely face,
Changing its expressions, with every word that the novel says.
"Is it that good?" I ask myself again in my head,
Smiling at how adorable you look.
"I could watch you forever, in that very simple way you are right now."
I said out loud to that beautiful man sitting in front of me.
And you just, lifted your head looking puzzled, while your mind comprehending the words I just said.
And when you understand, you smile,
making my cheeks warm like cherry rose.
