It’s rare for me to doubt my writing. I’m usually satisfied with the poems & short stories I write nowadays. It’s been a long time since I felt like others in my class write better than me. I’m not saying I think I write better they my classmates do. I think we’re on the same level, or at least I though. But today, I felt like others write much better than me & now that familiar feeling is surfacing. I want to be happy for their successes but my superiority complex is screaming at me. Especially cause it’s about the one thing I feel like I’m good at. 

I miss writing :’(

Almost done with an update but I’m currently trying to do an assignment where I have to write a poem in a specific manner so bare with me. About that poem tho, imma write about what happened to me yesterday morning. Basically I went to McDonald’s with a friend in the morning, before class & a homeless man went up to us to ask us for a dollar. When we said we didn’t have cash, he called us poor and laughed at us then left us alone. Despite how ironic it was, I think it’s worth writing about so imma see how that goes, then I’ll go back to finishing the current update I’m working on.

It’s stories like ‘the giver’ that anyways remind me why I wanted to be a writer ever since I was in middle school. Speaking of story writing, I wish I could find a faster writing process that works for me in order to speed up the pace in which I release chapters : ( 

Hi! It’s almost been a month since I’ve last been truly active on here. Sorry about that, I just wanted to enjoy some of my break & I have, it’s been two weeks now. I’ll be uploading soon but for now I just wanted to share something I wrote today :) that’s all for now. I’ll keep ya posted. 
          
          I like this feeling

          An empty day leading to an empty feeling
          A feeling displayed through an empty expression
          The seconds tick away into nothingness 
          And it doesn’t matter
          It just never does
          Until there’s a spark
          One that changes it all
          A change in the day that erases that empty feeling
          Replacing it with a brighter one
          One that makes it impossible to hide a smile
          Impossible to hide my laughter
          Even with all my shear force
          During a sincere moment, the chains break loose
          And I don’t try to fix them
          I simply give up

          Into that feeling of true happiness
          
          The constant laughter from me today was genuine
          Because the happiness I felt was genuine

It’s currently 1am on a Saturday & I am just now realizing that I forgot to announce that chapter 2, part 1 of “like a hostage” was released last week on Thursday… I can’t believe it took me a week & two days to realize that. Oh well it happens haha. Aside from that tho, I came on here real quick to just say that I won’t be uploading anything until after my last day of this semester cause I’m very scared for finals so I must focus on them. My last day of the semester is the 14th so after that, I’ll be safe to upload again. Sorry for the inconvenience but it happens. Anyways, I should really go to sleep now, talk to you soon :)

          chapter 1, part 4 of like a hostage is done & out there now. chapter 2, part 1 is gonna take a little longer then a week to be released since I have a lot more assignments this week & an important presentation due next Thursday but I swear it will be out as soon as it can possibly be.
