Instead of continuing the cycle of long silences followed by promises I genuinely wanted to keep but couldn't guarantee, I made the difficult decision to step away from that cycle entirely. This wasn't another promise—it was me finally admitting that I couldn't keep making promises I wasn't certain I could fulfill.

Removing the story wasn't me walking away from Beloved Beast. It was me trying to be honest about where I am instead of continuing to tell readers that an update was just around the corner. My hope is that by removing that pressure, I can finally give this story the time, focus, and passion it deserves so that when readers continue this journey, they'll have a completed book instead of more uncertainty.

I know none of this erases the disappointment you've felt, and I completely understand if this decision changes how you feel about me as an author. But I hope it helps explain why, after so many years, I felt this was the most honest and respectful path forward—for both my readers and for myself.

Thank you for spending so many years with these characters and for caring enough to share how you feel. Even though your words were difficult to read, I know they came from someone who truly loved this story, and for that I'll always be grateful.

@inkzerospace And don't worry, I won't reply on the story anymore. Unwanted criticisms are not accepted, so I won't disturb that peace. Good luck on your endeavors.

@inkzerospace I cannot even find my own comments and replies, and not going to lie if you deleted them, if that's the case, it's truly a shame and much more disappointing. Bcs it further proved my point. And rather than take criticism bcs what you've done REALLY hurt readers, you just silence those who are rightfully disappointed and maybe even angry. I tried to be very tactful and mindful of my words, but they're just gone, and it's VERY coincidental that somehow you DID reply to my previous comment but deleted it bcs I can't find it. You really just kept letting me down again and again up right until the end. If you really deleted all my comments (bcs coincidentally only mine are missing) it was very dogmatic of you. But in the end, I guess it's better that you showed me how you really dealed with things. You just proved my point even further in the end: Deleting and saying at whim. I just hope that for your future readers, you ACTUALLY keep your word. Bcs you DID give readers hope and just added pressure that you WOULD be back, your comments say so with each reply. But I guess time will tell again.

Wattpad won't let me respond directly to your comment for some reason so I hope it's ok that I came here. Thank you for taking the time to write this, especially after following Beloved Beast for so many years.

I won't pretend your comment wasn't difficult to read, but I genuinely appreciate your honesty. I completely understand why this feels like another disappointment, and I'm truly sorry that's how this decision has affected you.

I also want to address something you said about the promises I've made over the years because, honestly, you're right. There have been times when I've talked about updating more consistently or said I was determined to finish, only for life to get in the way and for me to fall short. I know how disappointing that has been, and I'm truly sorry for that.

The truth is, recognizing that pattern is one of the biggest reasons I came to this decision.

I don't think I explained clearly enough what actually changed for me. Before making this decision, readers were waiting for updates with no real timeline, and every time I opened Wattpad, I was reminded that I was letting people down. The longer that continued, the more guilt I carried, and that guilt slowly made writing feel less like the escape it had always been and more like another responsibility I was struggling to keep up with.

I know you said you would have waited, and I truly believe you. I know many of my readers would have, and that honestly made this decision even harder. But this wasn't because I thought my readers lacked patience. It was because I no longer felt comfortable continuing to ask for it. After so many years, I didn't think it was fair to keep everyone waiting and hoping for an update that I couldn't confidently promise.

@inkzerospace You DID reply directly, I read it the moment you sent it bcs I was actually checking if you'd replied at that moment. But interestingly enough, it was gone like 2 minutes after you sent it on my reply, along with my reply/comment. But I guess 1 reader is not anything, so deleting the reply was not worth much. But I guess it does show actual honesty and sincerity. I do thank you for at least letting me know.
