does anyone else get these bots that come into your stories, votes and comments how good your book is, and that it deserves a comic book/webcomic? then leaves its discord?

look at the account and its only joined under a month ago, mere weeks! follows a few people, has a reading list with a mix of original stories and other fanfictions, including my own now.
i dont understand why i keep getting botted???

@AnaNovakAuthor its better than when i kept getting followed by accounts advertising their OF account with the profile pics being women in bikinis and such 🙄 but still annoying nonetheless. fills up so much of my notifications and genuinely makes me excited to see, and then im frustrated. if it’s really such a good book, votes on every chapter then lol

@0HAshC3 It happens almost every day to me. If I report them to Wattpad, nothing gets done for days and by then they've already created a dozen more accounts under a slightly different name. So now I just delete the comment and block the account. It's infuriating. Especially for smaller authors like you and I, every comment is exciting and then it's so devastating to see that it's just a bot.

i wrote a solid 2.7k words for my next chapter of echo on my laptop, went to bed, tried to open the same chapter on my phone, theres nothing there.
reset the app, nothing.
so im scared, upset, and deffo mad if i just lost all that hard work overnight.
