@herbie100 I'm sure it depends on the beta reader. What credentials do they have and how do they prove their worth? Do they offer a sample or share past work? Also, do you know what specific feedback you are seeking? What are your thoughts about your strengths and weaknesses? Can you request they focus on your weaknesses? If not, I wonder if they critique will just be whatever random thoughts they have as they read.
            
            Anyone can call themselves a beta reader and charge for it. That doesn't mean they know more than people reading and commenting for free...

@0____T____0  might check with LittleLo  and/or  Lyttlejoe. they are both long time writers that have posted many stories on this site. don't know if they have used paid Betas but could give you their insight.

            I would be in a bad place if I couldn't steal from other readers lists, wattpad search could be way better
