Maybe it’s midnight and I’m overthinking but I was thinking about Zola and Josh (more so Josh) in beyond the limelight and I kinda really hate how it seems like I’ve villainised a person who clearly has mental health struggles and I lowkey don’t like BTL anymore lol.
It was never my intention to villainise people with mental health problems, only to make Josh have a reason for the way he acts. In hindsight I would’ve changed a lot about how i wrote it tbh.
I wanna make it clear that people who struggle with mental health or exhibit symptoms similar to those characters are not inherently bad people and not everyone who has symptoms like Josh would do the things he did.
I know this is a whole “no one asked” burger but it’s just something I thought about and wanted to mention.

Aye, Josh in Until Dawn was the same way. Mental health isn't an excuse, Josh CLEARLY needs help. And part of the legal system, if he exhibits mental health problems and in court he claims insanity, he might get a reduced sentence and he'll be put into a psychiatric ward before being placed in a jail or prison. It's very real-world. You did a good job
