Good morning, afternoon, or evening. I apologize for the intrusion, but I wanted to talk to you about the boycott against Nestlé; it is a company that heavily pollutes the environment, and I also want to tell you about its crimes.
This movement started on TikTok, but I want to share it because I don't want to lose my future.
Why? Because the world is officially facing a water crisis thanks to this company and many others; we only have three years left before water starts to become scarce.
In the 1970s, Nestlé caused the deaths of many babies in Africa by aggressively marketing its baby formula as a substitute for breast milk, which led to malnutrition among these young children.
Nestlé exploits child labor in Africa for cocoa harvesting.
Nestlé is responsible for an E. coli outbreak that sickened and killed children.
And—though this is more a matter of word-of-mouth—Nestlé is accused of racism for putting higher levels of sugar and fat in products marketed to South America and Africa, while products for North America and Europe contain half those amounts.
Like Coca-Cola, this company heavily pollutes our beloved world.
You can help by not buying products from these companies and by spreading the word.
