Where is "Echoes of the Heart" ?

I'm trying something a little different. While I have a traditional story going with Nighthorn. I've started a second story: Fragmented. 
          
          Here is the different part. Rather than targeting chapters of 1- 2k in words, I am trying snaps. Each chapter is 500 words or fewer with a new chapter daily. We'll see how it turns out and if readers like this more bite-sized style.

How are people feeling about ONC this year? I have participated each year, challenging myself with a new focus. But recently, I have been blocked. Aside from one character with no story attached to him, I have nothing. It has been weird not having a story rolling around in my head. Maybe a prompt will inspire me, or perhaps this is the year I will stay on the sidelines. I'm interested to hear where others are!
