So in chapter one of He's Not My Boyfriend before they hang up the phone and they say "you complete me" "we complete each other" that's their way of saying 'I love you' because Cody has this thing where he doesn't say I Love You to someone unless they're dating. He's been hurt in the past so that's why they do it and Nick is okay with that. He says it to his family and friends but Cody is different. They complete each other. They need the other person. So.. yeah
