OKAY, little Tear rant. (Yes, my actual name is Tear, my parents were either extremely high when then named me, or really depressed. Anyways, you can call me Tee!)
So, I was scrolling through some nalu fics (because, well, I lurve them.) and I came across one that had an ODDLY similar cover to mine. So I clicked on it. It was in horrible quality considering the person who stole my cover (which I had spent hours into making *cough cough*) can't really zoom in on Wattpad.
Their title wasn't even "His Heart's Key"!! It was "His Key". So to this cover stealer, props for originality.
I message this person, who would refuse to take it down until I brought in "scarier" methods. (Tear can be ᴠᴇʀʏ scary when she wants to be. *cackles*)
So this whole problem is solved, this person even deactivated their account lol. But I'm still super sad. The thing is, making covers that I'm satisfied with are ᴇxᴛʀᴇᴍᴇʟʏ hard to make, so knowing that someone took one of mine without my permission saddens me. Even more depressing is that anyone could steal my cover easily, and I wouldn't even know about it.
So I kinda have a request for you amazing people, if you ever see anything of mine (or ᴀɴʏᴏɴᴇ else's) cover/story copied, please tell the author!! It would ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ help.
