Hello! I'm the author of He Saved Me, the book you are reviewing. I just wanted to let you know that I'm currently editing some of the first few chapters, so you might find some chapters not making sense. I wanted to tell you so that you won't find the story confusing in case you have already started reviewing it. But I'll let you know when I'm done editing most of the chapters. I hope that's okay with you?

Hey everyone!

I apologize for not updating Damned Heart of the Forest. For a while now I felt like something has been wrong with the current 5 chapters, and me being a perfectionist I’ve spent time and time again going over it so many times. So many different drafts.

I thought getting others opinions would help, but it would only result in one person saying, “there’s too much detail that I lose track of what’s going on!” Or “The detail is perfect, you don’t need to change anything.” There has been a time when someone said there wasn’t enough detail. I’ve just been stuck.

But now that I’ve become a reviewer, I need to take my own advice and have confidence in my writing. I’m proud to say that this coming week there will be more frequent updates.

          Much love, x.

@SobsAngrily Here's some advice that I've gained from getting some rough-arounds. Just write. Finish your first draft, no matter what. DO NOT listen to anyone's feedback now, because YOU WILL feel discouraged, and YOU WILL stop writing. Finish your first draft, publish it, and let it sit for a few months. Apply to some review shops/awards to get some feedback. Then, come back to it and edit, taking the majority opinion into account
