Elias dos Santos: A Brazilian Wordsmith (or Word Butcher?)
Elias dos Santos, a 54-year Brazilian, has been crafting verbose platitudes and other nonsense since childhood, much to the chagrin of his small, dedicated following. As a radio host and journalist, he's contributed (or caused damage, he's not sure which) to various media outlets in the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, including Rádio Cultura, FM Canarinho, FM Cidade, and newspapers Diário da Serra (now defunct, though Elias' role in its demise has yet to be confirmed) and O Progresso (Dourados-MS).
Divorced and the father of seven dogs (whose paternity he questions), Elias is a simple man, not because he chooses to be, but because he's incapable of sophistication. He enjoys beer and has a corn on his left foot.
