14 & 15 year old me : I'm gonna do some homework, write a chapter and plan for the next book.
          
          20 year old me: I'm broke as all hell, finals are kicking my ass, I'm taking summer courses, college is stressful.. AND DID I MENTION I WAS BROKE? lmfao
          
          Now you see why I am rarely on here. But, I love you all and I'm happy you all still support my books. I will come back someday

Literally me. I’m trying my best but it’s hard. But I’m also an English major so I’m technically doing school work by writing? At least, that’s what I tell myself.

long time, no see.
          i began wattpad when i was 14 years old in high school, in a horrible mental state and in a horrible home environment. writing was my escape and i am more than grateful for it. i remember even writing chapters when i got wifi once every two weeks (i wrote at my brother's house which had wifi and my phone was off because it had no service since i wasn't able to pay for it, and i had no computer) because of my financial situation as well as being so depressed.  i am pleased to let you all know that i am 20 years old, in a healthier and more secure mental state and in college. i even got myself a nice boo, we are going on over a year. i do still enjoy writing, but i am more guided towards my photography and film. i am happy to see people still enjoying my fanfics even tho i am never here online because i am older. who knows, i see myself coming back one day. if you want to see how im doing, my twitter is @malikahbey and my instagram is @malikah_bey and my snap is msswaggy15. so, i want to thank every reader that has loved and engaged in my writing, as well as the new comers. i log on sometimes, and i always get hella notifs and messages so if i dont respond that is kinda why lol. but i just wanted to say thank you and i love all of you.

@123swaggy this honestly makes me so happy  I remember when I was like in the seventh grade reading your stories to help me forget what was happening in my real life. I remember messaging you once, asking if you were okay after a note you put on the end of a chapter. Seeing this makes me so grateful that we are both in better places now. I just can't thank you enough for helping me back then even if you didn't know that's what your stories were doing. ❤️
