As of late 2020, this account no longer publishes stories. I do enjoy writing for fun and have many good memories from this site. But for the foreseeable future, writing can't be more than a hobby for part of my dwindling spare time. When a hobby becomes more stress than fun, it's time to re-evaluate it.
          
          I'd like to thank all my followers, all my readers (whether vocal or silent), everyone I've spoken to here, and the authors of the various stories I've read on Wattpad. You all helped me endure what were the most emotionally difficult years of my life so far.
          
          Sorry for any grief I've caused - either by the removal of my stories or by writing them the ways I did, or by essentially ghosting everyone here. I should have made a more complete farewell back then. There are probably other things I should have done.
          
          In the ~3.5 years that I used this account, I worked on well over 60 stories, in many of which I never finished a chapter to a point where I could publish it. Other stories, I still think about now and then - but they've devolved into miscellaneous dialogues and world-building details, no longer having the structure of a story.
          
          The few stories I finished are ones I can't bear to present anymore. Such stories helped me vent as a teenager, so I'm glad I wrote, but that angst is well behind me, so now I'm focusing on the future. For me this means engineering. For you it could mean anything. Please, pace yourself and remember to take some breaks to do things that interest you.

Hello all. 'S been a while.
          
          It's obvious by now that I can't progress in any of my stories without a major reshuffling of priorities, so I'm going to stop writing a lot of my stories, such as Fated Emanations, New Life New Death, etc. The former of those hasn't been updated in 1.5 years, even though I think about it at least every week.
          
          This might give me the capacity to work on my less central projects, but please don't expect much. I write for my own satisfaction, but over these three years it's become a heavy weight, and I need to shed a lot of it right now.

Hey Ar!  Been awhile! 

Apparently, in late January when I added a note to the first seven chapters of MTHH saying "parts of this chapter may be rewritten", I may have accidentally overwritten each whole chapter with a draft from something else. That error is corrected now, and since no one told me about it, I hope that means no one was really affected by it. Anyway, today I'll be finishing and hopefully republishing the rewritten first chapter, as I promised back in February.

Stories progress update
          
          Mike & Topaz finally has a new cover, and I'm about to start looking through the early chapters and making necessary changes to align things with my current vision for the story. Most changes should be minor details (e.g. Topaz would never wear a skirt, Edward doesn't keep everything on a bracelet on one arm, etc) or just making things sound better. There's one detail I'm keeping, despite how it contradicts my headcanon for how Aura works (see Precipice Pokedex: Auradex).
          
          Fated Emanations is long overdue for an update. I've been working on 5-8 dex entries I'll post simultaneously, as well as a map of the region. This update will be big.
          
          In New Life, New Death, I've changed the Elite Grunt's POV to third person, and I'll do the same for Kabili's, since both will just be recurring side characters, not protags. I'll keep the Admin's POV first person because it shows part of the group's mentality. It'll be a few months before the next update.
          
          Velika's story is on the back burner, mostly because of the need to work on the above stories. I haven't forgotten about Weary Rest Not, or even I Choose Left. But it will be a while before I focus on any of these. This is plenty long, so ta-ta!

This isn't a progress or status update, just a me update, heheh.
          
          I've never been very concerned about my own romantic and sexual orientation - I always figured I'd just stay single and it wouldn't matter; but after over three years of occasional questioning, I've come to the conclusion that I am aromantic and on the asexual spectrum. For me, that means I don't have romantic or (non-abstract) sexual desires. My true love is writing: the practice of aspirating inspiration, enhancing one's imagination, and bleeding one's mind through one's fingers into the text!
          
          So, yeah. That's it for this post :P

Haven't made an announcement in a while, heheh. Well, for starters, to anyone who's read any of my first written and currently second most viewed work, Is There No Escape?... Well, I'd like to say most of my works aren't that intensely violent and gory. But all of them have at least some violence and blood, and most have death.
          
          On the Precipice Chronicles: I am working on a new chapter each for Mike & Topaz/Heroes of Hoenn, Fated Emanations, New Life/New Death, and Slayers' Duet, as well as more Assorted Precipice Chronicles. I am also working on several new stories, including one taking place in the Ghost Realm and one in an alternate, zombie apocalyptic future. Additionally, when Sword and Shield are released and their content posted on Bulbapedia in November, I will (as soon as I am able) update Fated Emanations' prologue, Pokemon Creation Lore According to the Precipice Chronicles, and any other affected stories to incorporate the events of Sword and Shield and the lore of the Galar region.
          
          Around ten months ago, I published the beginning of a PMD: Red/Blue Rescue Team fanfic called We Are Team Hiroizumu. I'm currently editing that chapter to fit with PMD lore I hadn't known at the time; a second chapter is also in progress. I also have plans for another PMD fanfic, but don't expect that one soon.
          
          Also, a general notice: I make all the covers for my stories (hence some of them being kinda cringy), but I don't own any of the pictures I use in them.
