Hi, I was wondering if between the seasons will be updated again as I really loved reading it

HELLO GOOD CITIZENS, I'M HERE WITH A LIFE UPDATE!!!
          
          SO it's been almost a month since I made my last publication, and I have a proud 500 or so words in the draft of my next chapter. Yippee! I'm also taking 2 APs -- AP bio and AP comp sci -- and they're basically extracurriculars, different from yall american curriculum things. I also have 2 healthsci/bio competitions, a music competition, a math competition coming up real, real soon, plus all the rando work from school, plus I'm trying my best to have a social life. Therefore, I'm kinda not having a good time. Please have patience and hopefully I won't have to discontinue Between the Seasons!

Okay. I'm usually not in the habit of announcing my publications (maybe I should start doing that), but holy macaroni chapter 9 is finally out! Between the Seasons isn't dead yall!!!
          
          The writing process for this chapter was such absolute cancer that it shook my will to continue this story for the very first time. HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ IT! GO READ IT

          Okay, so now that you've all hopefully read the chapter, you'll think back on the Sidon-Mipha possession and realize how many rewrites and revisions that took me. 
          
          First of all, I didn't even know what I was gonna do with this chapter, so I procrastinated until I came up with the idea of Sidon being overworked and stuff. And then I realized that hey, it should come easily to him if he had lots of love to draw upon. And it kinda followed from there. 
          
          I was gonna take it a whole other direction at first. No creepy crawly possession stuff. Just Sidon spilling his guts about his trauma from losing his sister and then losing his ability to love, where I'd also used this pretty cool metaphor about colors and whatnot. But it was really clunky to read and didn't fit well, plus the transition was awkward and unwieldy. So I wrote it over and over again, lenghtened it, shortened it, before I accepted that that wasn't gonna work. I then thought for a long time trying to find another way. 
          
          And so I made a shorter version, from "Mipha"'s eyes. And then what I wrote impacted me so much that I was actually unable to move on. I'd hop on Wattpad, edit some stuff, move some things around, change the wording, and leave without writing more of the chapter. A period of grappling with Sidon's POV came after, and needless to say I finally, FINALLY got it over with. God it was not fun. Hope you guys enjoyed my sweat and tears

          We have made a new frantic fanfics discord server for the Zelda people of Wattpad (and friends). Frantic fanfic is played with multiple players who start a fanfic, pass it on to the next person, the story exchanging hands until everyone’s had a chance to work on it.
