While I do not intend to be a political account, given my nation's position in global politics and economy, I feel it necessary to make a statement.
Firstly, I am a citizen of the United States of America(US); for privacy reasons, I will not disclose the state in which I am a citizen/resident.
I want to preface this by saying that, due to my personal beliefs at the time of submitting my ballot/vote, I did not vote for any candidate in the US presidential election.
That being said, before I go to bed or get too shitfaced to write coherently, I am releasing this statement.
CBS, NBC, and ABC, which are Democratic-leaning Press, have called the State of Pennsylvania for former President Donald J. Trump. With the state being called, it is highly unlikely that Vice President Kamal Harris will have a path to the presidency.
While I did not vote in the Presidential election personally, I hoped for an electoral college blowout for either candidate for the sake of national stability. As it currently looks like, Former US President Trump looks like he will win the electoral college with 300+ Electoral votes. I personally hoped that either candidate would win by a margin of at least 20 electoral votes.

@146852586a well, I would like to inform you that Russia is already beginning to push forward with backing out of Ukraine.
P.S. Also, as of the moment of my posting, former President Trump is also favored to win the US National Popular Vote, to my knowledge.
With all of that being said, I hope I leave you all with the understanding that I was unwilling to support either candidate due to personal beliefs. My vote, regardless of the State that I live in, would not have changed the overall results of this election. And lastly that, I do hope that the presumptive 47th President of the United States, regardless of any changes that come to this election at the time of my posting, can lessen world tensions and largely re-establish peace in the world and avoid a third World War.
Thank you all for reading and understanding. I am largely apolitical, but once again, given my nation's position in the world and the rhetoric and predictions of my nation's elections, I felt it necessary to make a statement. I do hope that the presumptive 47th President (Trump) is able to lessen World Tensions and move us towards a path to World Peace.

All I can think of is the gods on Olympus panicking and doing everything to prevent that because Percy has more than enough sass for them for one immortal life time

Honestly, How does good ol uncle Rick expect me to believe that the same demigod who stared down Hades at 12 fought Ares moments later. Faced numerous titans the gods struggled to defeat. Faced four primordials, and making one of them effectively submit to him. All the sudden fear a non Olympian goddess whom he’s never interacted with before.
Because I’d minimally understand him fearing someone like Artemis, as he saw her fight the titan general right after holding the weight of the sky for about a week and he felt the pressure of the weight of the sky for only minutes thinking it was neigh impossible to do.
Like seriously it’s not just depositing Percy it’s effectively infantilizing him at this point. I’m seriously considering not even getting the next book because of it

I agree the book was lacking compared to the other ones but I did like that Percy could control the perfume to an extent and the dehydrating thing so it was cool to see his power develop a bit past just moving water
