Trying to do the math on how many times annabeth saved Percy’s life. Let me know if you agree or if I forgot something

.5 is a half save(I.e., her plan Percy executing her plan, etc.)

1 is a he’d definitely would be dead without her intervention (I.e., preventing him from looking directly at Medusa, etc.)

.5 bus with the kindly ones
          	1 Medusa
          	.5 tunnel o love
          	.5 Circe’s island
.5 Dr.Thorne (though I’m inclined not to include this because her actions did more harm in the keep Percy alive line than good)
          	1 took that knife
.5 the Olympian throne room in book 5
.5 letting Damasen and Bob save Percy(this really shouldn’t count but I’m extending for the Annabeth stans)

-1 deciding that just because he can control something that isn’t his father’s domain means he shouldn’t control it and uses emotional manipulation to get him to promise not to use those powers of which he has previously used to save his life, her life, and if I recall correctly the lives of some legionaries.

That’s it from what I consider canon of their story (the original 5 and HoO) for a grand total of

          	4 times

3 if you don’t include the ones that are a bit of a stretch

Yes she deserves a minus 1 for the emotional manipulation to get Percy to limit himself in his ability to protect himself, her, and their friends.

@146852586a I may be crazy but I would make Circe's island a full point, a full point for Cerberus, a half point for giving him the idea that allows him to beat Ares, and a half point to her for alerting him about Antaeus his half brother being a son of gaia. She also kills Keli before Keli is able to kill Percy in Botl, another point for remembering about the lake of fire and bringing them there. A point for saving them from the Cocytus and I would give her a half point for distracting Nyx

@146852586a I agree, her Mali him promise that he won’t use those powers led to him almost drowning in poisoned water bc even tho he knew that he could save himself he didn’t bc of what Annabel Cheese said

@146852586a ok but I fully understand her wanting him to not use those powers not just because of what the powers were but the situation they caused, because while yes he did save both of their lives with that power, but she also just watched her boyfriend choke a goddess with a look on his face that most likely resembled Lukes expression way to much for comfort. So, I think it was less about the powers and more so about how he displayed them

I’m reading a reading story on AO3 and they got to the part about the canon and Amphitrite questions why it was loaded in the first place especially when it’s around children and all I want to say is well these dummies give children swords and tell them to go have fun stabbing and slashing things from ancient myth and if your ballsie enough to do that to a an immortal

Read a short fic where Sally Paul and Percy were coming back from dinner (Sally is pregnant with Estella at the time) and some mugger grabs hold of Sally’s arm. At this point Percy pins said person to the wall with his forearm against the throat and the mugger had the audacity to call Sally a whore…all I could see was Percy applying just that little bit more pressure he’s capable of as a demigod and the muggers head going pop.

Reading an AO3 story crossover between HPxPJO where the wizards take demigods as inferior magical creatures, and start attempting to capture them. After capture and failing to hold one of the camps residents, the camp retaliates to get said camper back. Then the wizards start taking the demigods too young for camp and taking them to the UK.

Anyway Percy, Annabeth, and Piper do some recon where they eventually find a daughter of Athena(by physical description) in a ministry approved laboratory. Said daughter of Athena is on her death bed when they find her and tells Percy she’s cold and mistakes Annabeth for her mother…as one that knows Percy can imagine, Percy decided the laboratory had lost its right to live. Ends up with 17 dead wizards.

But get this the news that arrives at hogwarts the next day calls for the “species” to be isolated. Like Bitch you all went and kicked the hornets nest and expected to not get stung and you got stung. Now you have regrets and an angry, pissed off, effectively ancient sea god wanting nothing more than to send you to his uncle and keep his “children” (cousin, cousins children, nephews and nieces) safe. And the only one capable of restraining him, is just telling him to wait for the proper moment. Like she already fully supports the genocide she just wants it done all at once and silently.

          Story name: The Great War

Reading a story on AO3 opens with a good number of demigods disappearing Thanos style and Zeus freaking out on Apollo for not knowing where Thalia is…All I can see is Poseidon deadpanning his brother saying, “you’re worried about Thalia…Your own daughter and the lieutenant of an Olympian. Brother I want you to pause and think for a moment, what the fuck do you think my son will do if he and Annabeth aren’t together?”

Zeus spending an abnormal pause to think about before stating “Fuck”

Poseidon replying, “that’s exactly what I thought. Now I don’t know who did it but I’m preparing my armies for an attack from my son just in case he think I had anything to do with this. Good luck to the rest of you”

How would Percy responded to be told to kneel to Stannis Baratheon, after being told of all of his title after Renly’s defeat?

My bet, “OH FUCKING GREAT ANOTHER FUCKING GOD I GET TO PISS OFF FOR JUST EXISTING. I SWEAR I AM DONE WITH THEIR IMMORTAL BULLSHITERY”

Found a PJO and GoT(song of ice and fire) crossover on AO3.

Basically it’s only Percy and a fraction of Poseidon(self/power) that crossovers over. Percy is basically still his godly heroic self and fights for the North. But Poseidon this mfer doesn’t just go around and teach magic (via dreams) to Arya and Marcella Baratheon(a captive of Sansa). No he goes and teaches the little lion full on naval architecture. Man o wars. Yup. Not big enough what about the iron clad…you betcha. But wait there’s more. He done did teach about event the metal behemoths of battleships, aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates and probably more.
