Trying to do the math on how many times annabeth saved Percy’s life. Let me know if you agree or if I forgot something
.5 is a half save(I.e., her plan Percy executing her plan, etc.)
1 is a he’d definitely would be dead without her intervention (I.e., preventing him from looking directly at Medusa, etc.)
.5 bus with the kindly ones
1 Medusa
.5 tunnel o love
.5 Circe’s island
.5 Dr.Thorne (though I’m inclined not to include this because her actions did more harm in the keep Percy alive line than good)
1 took that knife
.5 the Olympian throne room in book 5
.5 letting Damasen and Bob save Percy(this really shouldn’t count but I’m extending for the Annabeth stans)
-1 deciding that just because he can control something that isn’t his father’s domain means he shouldn’t control it and uses emotional manipulation to get him to promise not to use those powers of which he has previously used to save his life, her life, and if I recall correctly the lives of some legionaries.
That’s it from what I consider canon of their story (the original 5 and HoO) for a grand total of
4 times
3 if you don’t include the ones that are a bit of a stretch
Yes she deserves a minus 1 for the emotional manipulation to get Percy to limit himself in his ability to protect himself, her, and their friends.

@146852586a I may be crazy but I would make Circe's island a full point, a full point for Cerberus, a half point for giving him the idea that allows him to beat Ares, and a half point to her for alerting him about Antaeus his half brother being a son of gaia. She also kills Keli before Keli is able to kill Percy in Botl, another point for remembering about the lake of fire and bringing them there. A point for saving them from the Cocytus and I would give her a half point for distracting Nyx

@146852586a I agree, her Mali him promise that he won’t use those powers led to him almost drowning in poisoned water bc even tho he knew that he could save himself he didn’t bc of what Annabel Cheese said

@146852586a ok but I fully understand her wanting him to not use those powers not just because of what the powers were but the situation they caused, because while yes he did save both of their lives with that power, but she also just watched her boyfriend choke a goddess with a look on his face that most likely resembled Lukes expression way to much for comfort. So, I think it was less about the powers and more so about how he displayed them
