Charliah (shar*lee*uh) is a fye young filmmaker, from Atlanta, Georgia, who produces poetry, music, and review videos for her YouTube Channel, "Legitness Lauryn". More recently, Charliah performed in Alliance Theatre's Palefsky Collision Project alongside nineteen other teenage artists under the leadership of Pearl Cleage, an esteemed author and activist, Patrick McColery, a director at the Alliance Theatre, and several Atlanta based artists. Presently, Charliah is one of the leading partners of a short film company, Charlexent Visionaries. They won first place in the 2018 Mobile Movie Makers Youth Film Competition for their short film "Breach" and a few of their other short films were later featured at the Georgia Thespian Conference. Charliah will be continuing her filmmaking endeavors at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and TV.
